We will miss Rosie SO MUCH! When she remembered little else, Rosie always knew the Lord. Not long ago, while I was visiting my mom at Lakepoint, Rosie was giving the nurses quite a fit. She was indignant that "these kids think they know more than I do!" I walked up to her, knelt down, and asked her what was bothering her so. As she explained from her perspective, sharing her irritation with the "girls", I said, "Now, Rosie, don't you think the best thing we can do for them is to pray for them?" Instantly her demeanor changed, she said quietly, "I'm ashamed of myself. I know that's what I need to do!" I knelt beside her, and she prayed such a beautiful, powerful, prayer! It seemed, much of the time when I would visit, she was looking for her room. It was often difficult to persuade her that her room was indeed her room. But she never lost the recognition that Jesus was her Lord and Savior. What a beautiful, beautiful life we were blessed to witness and share in!

What a strong, beautiful woman. She raised a large family and has many grandkids and great grand kids to remember her. I'm sorry for your pain and loss and I'm praying for God to wrap his loving arms around you all and comfort you. She's rejoicing with her husband and Jesus today and you will see her soon. Love you.

Rosie was such an influence to me as a young Christian mother. She taught me how to love my children unconditionally and to realize that what I said to them was so much more important than a glass of spilled milk or a broken glass. She and Jack were our spiritual leaders during a time we really needed that leadership. What a wonderful life she led - a perfect example of a Child of God. God Bless all of you during this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
