To the family: Linda was a lady of class. She was open, approachable, genuine and always caring. She could make you laugh one minute and the next be amazed by her wisdom. I last saw her shortly before her death, and we promised to get together soon. I'm sorry I missed that opportunity. I will miss her.

Linda was my classmate and good friend throughout high school in Denton, Texas. She and I had many good times singing in the choir and with our friends, Terry and Shelley, in a quartet known as The Co-eds. She was a lovely person.

During her tenure at Butler Community College, Linda B. was known by all as a caring and nurturing leader. She was a person of integrity and she also had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a very special person and I am glad for the opportunity to have worked with her.

Linda blessed my life in many years for 28 year period. She was first and foremost a loyal and loving friend. She was a wonderful college leader and a joy to work for and with over the years.

I so enjoyed working with and for Linda for about 15 years. She frequently shared her love for her family...and her dogs! Her heart bled Butler purple and she was truly legend at the college. We called our department her queendom...and she was the Queen B! What a difference she made to the students and staff at Butler. She will always be remembered fondly.

Linda Billingsley was a fun, amazing, and one of the warmest people I've ever met. Our youngest daughters,, Heidi and Natalie, were "students" of Linda's at Reveille Lane way back. I treasure photos we have from almost 40 years ago. All of the kids loved Linda. Her son Dave was a classmate there also. We treasured her friendship, through all the many years in between...and consider myself lucky and honored to have been her friend. She will be so missed.

The first time I met Linda was at Kohl's Sports. I was visiting with Ev Kohls and Linda walked in following her interview for the Dean of Students position at Butler. It turned out we both had interviewed for the same position. Linda was named as the Dean of Butler of Andover and I was fortunate to be named the Dean of Students.
When there was an incident at Andover with a student that I got to address, Linda met me at the door and said, "I'm sure glad you got that job!"
I always appreciated my conversations with Linda! She was one of class that I will remember as keeping students at the heart of what we do at Butler. May she rest in peace! She is and will continue to be missed!

Linda was a loving friend and I am grateful to have had her in my life. She gave the best hugs and here laughter was contagious. One of the things I enjoyed most about her were her stories. She made them come alive! Linda B. had incredible capacity for doing good! I'm smiling just thinking of her!

David and family -- so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I hope you can find comfort in memories of the good times. She can now check on Maude, Columbo, and Jason -- remembering the good times we had together.

Linda was one of a kind, I grew up in the same neighborhood with Linda and Don. as a kid and then they moved to where my Mom lives around the corner. She always had a smile for us, and a good word. You will be missed my friend.
