I'm sorry. I'm in California on vacation or I would for sure be at his service. Thinking of you all, and Kathy, a big, sincere hug to you. ❤️

Dear Kathy and family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Art. We've missed seeing him at the car shows. I first met Art when he was hauling asphalt for Tubby out of Mid-Kansas Const. and Kenny worked with him at L A Knebler. Art and the rest of the family will be in our prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Kathy & family,
We are deeply saddened at the loss of our dear friend Art - and saddened for you as well. But in the midst of that grief, we are extremely grateful that Art was part of our lives and we will forever have the privilege & pleasure to call him our "friend" & and Danny can call him his Vietnam buddy. We are thrilled that Art's "memorial brick" at the VA Memorial Peace Garden will always be close to Danny
Words cannot express what we feel but we trust that you know in some way how much he meant to us for so many reasons. Art may not be with us but nothing can ever erase those precious & sweet memories we have. Our prayer is that you will find peace, comfort, strength and joy from those same memories you have and that God will surround you with his love & assurance.
Please know you are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers now and the days ahead.
With deepest sympathy, friendship and love to all of you,
Danny & Cheryl Boyes

Kathy, so sorry to hear about Art. I've known Art since the 3rd grade in Douglass. Always funny.
We were both in Brown water Navy, so had alot in common there. Have missed seeing him lately... really ornery and fun.
