Chase’s life began on November 22, 1995 in El Dorado. He is the son of Derek Ludewick and Jamie ( Wardlaw) Harbin. Chase was a 2014 graduate of El Dorado High School where he was active in the band and the drumline. He was employed by John K. Fisher Cadillac-Buick-GMC, working in the body shop. Chase enjoyed his music, working on cars, taking way too many selfies and going fishing. He is survived by his father Derek (Jaime) Ludewick of El Dorado, his mother Jamie (Brad) Harbin of El Dorado, maternal grandparents B.J. Wardlaw of El Dorado, David Wardlaw of York, PA, paternal grandparents Gary and Mary Ludewick of El Dorado and Max and Sherry Honeyman of El Dorado, his sister Chelsea (Trea) Mann of El Dorado, step-brothers Ryan Harbin of Wichita, Kyle Harbin of Clearwater and Zachary Mitchell of El Dorado. Chase passed away on Saturday March 11, 2017 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. His family will gather with friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home. Chase’s funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church led by Pastor Steve Hysom. Chase will be laid to rest in Sunset Lawns Cemetery at a later date.
