Linda Kay Guy

Linda Guy, was born February 16, 1949; daughter of Troy and Inez Batson in Wichita, KS. She attended Wichita Schools, starting with Irving Grade School, where she started playing the violin and graduated from North High School in Wichita. She married Richard Guy in February 1972, and were married for 23 years, raising their four children, Wendi, Vicki, Staci and Richard II (Richi). She was kind to everyone she met and no one was ever a stranger in her eyes. She had many friends and enjoyed meeting new people wherever she went. Her family includes her children Wendi Seuser, Victoria Scott-Hamilton, Staci Wehling and Richard Guy II as well as many more that she considered as her foster kids; mother, Inez Batson; grandchildren Justin and wife, Carrie, Ashleigh, Ashton, Kalynn, Kadedra, Kolby, Kaylee, Kassidi, Kristopher and Lola; great-grandchildren include Justin II, Allison, Audrina, Talon, Raelinn, Huxley, Millie, and another baby due November 17 and siblings, Troy Ellis Batson, Jr, Rodney Batson and Teresa Cash; and many nieces & nephews. Linda passed away on October 11, 2021 in Kansas City. She is preceded in death by her father, Troy Batson, Sr. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 19, at 1pm at the Leon Cemetery.
