Janice Elaine Howard

Janice Elaine Howard, of El Dorado, Kansas, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the age of 78. Janice was born on June 25, 1943 in El Dorado, Kansas to Grady and Helen (Danner) Johnson. Janice worked for Oil Hill School in the kitchen.
Janice is survived by her children, Sherri (Ron) Tatman, Anita (Greg) Miller, and Billie (Mike Duntz) Jones; grandchildren, Scott (Trinia) Scrivner, Sara (Mike Hammons) McCarter, Jamey (Chad Charles) Drake, Jesse (Hailey Escareno) Mullins, Kacy (Stephen Jehner) Mullins, Justin Jones, Brooke Jones, Tyson (Tayler) Jones, Chris Duntz, Brandon Duntz, and Ronald Tatman Jr.; numerous great grandchildren; and close friends, Mary Neiman and Cheryl (Terry) Martin.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Helen (Danner) Johnson; siblings, Beverly Mitchell and Donald Johnson; child, Ricky Lee Drake; and grandchild, Tisha Gravatt.
Memorial donations in Janice’s name can be made to Interim Healthcare and Hospice.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 5-7pm with a funeral service to take place on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 10am, both at Kirby-Morris Life Event Center. Burial will follow at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
