Carol Wohlgemuth
December 18, 1946 ~ June 20, 2022 (age 75) 75 Years Old
Carol’s life began on December 18, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK; the daughter of Harry P. and Bettye (Boston) Miller Jr. She graduated from South East High School in Wichita. Carol was united in marriage to Rod Wohlgemuth on November 24, 1978 in Towanda. She worked hard for her family in the medical field, retiring from Wesley Medical Center in Medical Records. Carol enjoyed sewing and planting flowers. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Carol loved her dogs and her chickens and spoiled them dearly. Carol always had a vision and was extremely passionate in arts and crafts. She was a talented painter. Her greatest joy was her family, which includes her husband, Rod of Towanda; children Dana (Stephen) Schmitt of Towanda, Deanna (Tony Stewart) Lane of Towanda and Zachary (Katy) Wohlgemuth of Towanda; grandchildren Dalton, Morgan, Codi, Jordan, Jessa, Blake, Miranda, Sophia, Kasen, Karter, Liza, Lucy and Wylie; great grandchildren Leighton, Elijah, Jaxon and Katherine; siblings Donna Miller, Ruth Heitsman and Ronnie Miller. Carol passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2022 in Towanda. She is preceded in death by her parents. Friends may gather with the family from 5-7pm on Thursday, June 23 at Carlson Colonial Funeral Home in El Dorado. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24 at 1pm at First Baptist Church in Towanda. Carol will be laid to rest at the Towanda Cemetery.
