Sherry Mankins, 49, of Denton Texas passed away June 30, 2017.  Cremation preceded the services; visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 8, 2017 with services immediately following at 2pm at the Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado, KS. She was born August 28, 1967 in Kansas City.  Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 29 years Doug Mankins, her adoring son Alex Mankins, mother and best friend Sharron Robinson, father Norman Robinson, sisters Debbie (Kevin) Farrell and Kristy Robinson, nieces Evelyn and Audrey Farrell, poodles Max and Maisy, plus many loved and cherished family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund has been set up with Carlson Funeral Home to facilitate Sherry's dream of having her son Alex, graduate college.  Please wear purple and stay for cake after service."
