Roezella “Rose” F. Robinson’s life began on June 14, 1933 the daughter of Everett and Elsie Louise (Swisher) Russell in Valley Center, KS. Rose married Donald Ray Robinson on March 2, 1952. She owned Rose’s Ceramics where she taught demonstrations and was a ceramic shop teacher. She also worked for Dillon’s Markets, Walmart and Southwestern Bell. Rose enjoyed ceramics, cooking, baking quilting and could always be found reading. She enjoyed playing games on her computer and she loved her family dearly. Rose never knew an enemy or a stranger. Rose passed away on June 26, 2017 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Her loving family includes her children Don (Winnie) Robinson Jr of Laurinburg, NC, Faye Ann Robinson of El Dorado, Michael Linn Robinson of El Dorado, Alan Dale of El Dorado; grandchildren Max, Mason and Brent; great-grandchildren Maddie, Sierra, and Trayton; brother Herbert Schrader of FL, sisters Sally Ann Shields of TX and Helen Galyon of Oklahoma. Rose is preceded in death by her husband Donald, daughter Kathy Lou and son Robin Lee, sisters Elsie “Micky” and Betty Rose. Friends may gather with the family from 2-3 pm on Saturday, July 1st at the Carlson Funeral Home where her memorial service will be held at 3 pm led by Don Robinson, Jr. Memorials in Rose’s name may be directed to Susan B.
