Dear Helen,
This is Susie Laforge. I didn't know that Kenneth passed away. This takes me by surprise and I wanted to tell you that I'm very sorry. I'm sure that you miss him very much, I thought he was just the kindest person and of course you are too. I should mention that I did housekeeping for you when you lived on Village Road near Bess And Ruby.
I have always remembered you and Kenneth very fondly. As best might say you're both just wonderful. I always love the way she use the word wonderful. Please let me know if there's anything at all that I could do for you. It would be my pleasure. My number is 316–323 – 4294. please keep my number and call me anytime. Bye-bye Susie LaForge

I am thinking of you and sending my deepest condolences. I learned so much from Ken in the 2 short years when he was principal at Lincoln Elem when I was there. He helped me grow and improve as an educator. He pointed out my strengths as well as the areas I needed to work on. I heard other educators say the same. He was gifted in what he did. He will be missed, however the way he led and strengthened others will continue on in each person he touched.

Mr Wagoner was my one and only grade school principal.!

He was always a great friend to all of us.

He helped set me on the road to a great education.

My favorite memory, he would come into the assembly, and say "good Morning children!" And we would say "good morning Mr Wag -on -er!"

Classic guy! Great teacher!

Helen and Family - I was so sad to hear about Ken's passing. I was always amazed at the depth of knowledge he had to help students learn. I was also surprised at one of your favorite past-times - square dancing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Andy and Glenda Tompkins

I am so very sorry for your Ioss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Mr Wagner was my principal at Lincoln Elementary. He quickly became one of my favorite "adults". Something I remember about him is how he knew the names of all the kids, that meant a lot to me, even as a child. I will always remember how kind he was.

What a kind and generous soul Kenneth is. His gentle nature was so evident in every interaction I had with him. Will always remember the gift of the tomato plants that kept coming back year after year.... Thinking of you, Helen, and praying that God's comfort and joy will seep into your heart during this time of sorrow and loss.

So sorry to hear about your loss. My heart goes out to you all. While I didn't know him, I knew you Mrs. Wagner and had you as my one of my 6th grade teachers, so I knew him from what you said about him. Hugs, Gayla C

It is with a very heavy heart I write this. 36 years ago, Mr. Wagner gave this wide eyed young girl fresh out of college a chance to teach 1st grade in his building, Jefferson Elementary. During the many years, Mr. Wagner taught me and showed me what a great educator does. He was very kind to give me my wings to fly and learn on my own but then he knew just when to rein me back down to earth. There are so many lessons he helped me learn that shaped me as an educator which I have kept with me during my career. He set the bar very high and I am still trying to reach it hoping I don’t let him down.
I am sure there is a very special place for great teachers, but I hope he knows what an impact he made not only on me but so many others. He was a great man in my eyes. All educators should be held to his standards.
I will miss him.
