Keith & Rick, I'm so sorry for your loss. Helen was such a fun friend and co-worker. I met her the first day I started in the Wichita SRS office on west 2nd street. She and Suzy Lawless had desks right behind mine. We became friends very soon and spent most of our lunch hours and breaks together until Helen retired. Then we spent many birthdays together. Helen could tell the best stories and describe people perfectly. When Suzy and I attended her mother's funeral we were able to pick out various people from Beaumont based on her descriptions. She was a great cook and I still use recipes she shared with me. I will not be able to attend the service tomorrow as I have two Doctor's appointments starting at 10:35 but will be thinking of all of you.

I am sadden at you lost of such a wonderful person. Helen was a gifted storyteller and often had her co-workers in tears of laughter. Her DCF (SRS) family will miss her. Your family is in our prayers. There is no doubt when the pearly white gates open to accept her she will have plenty of stories to keep everyone entertained.

Sorry for your loss Rick and Keith. Helen was one of my Dad's favorite cousin. A couple of years ago your Mom shared memories of my biological Grandmother Eastin whom died 15 years before I was born which I will hold dear.
Peace and comfort to you. The Lord bless and keep you
