Garnett M. Hurlburt

Garnett Marie Hurlburt, age 95, of El Dorado, passed into the care and presence of God on April 15, 2024. Private services will be conducted and Garnett will be laid to rest next to her husband, Robert at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Garnett was born January 31, 1929 in Trenton, Missouri. She was the daughter of Cal & Ruth (Jones) Ellis. She moved to El Dorado in 1947. Garnett married Robert Hurlburt on June 12, 1951. Robert preceded her in death on December 14, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents and five sisters: Mary Alice, Jewell, Ruby, Cora and Doris. Garnett is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her best friends, Jan and Lonnie Hus. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
